Maybe it might have to do with the fact that OGLE is ONLY the SURD right
now. Which is NOT the best of systems. Don't get me wrong, I like it, but
it can only be pushed so far without getting A) silly and B)a poor mechanic
for representing certain genres...heck maybe a lot of genres.

There are also a goodly amount of people out there that simply do not like
it because it you focus to much on the rules and not enough character
development in the way of roleplaying. It is all power based...and to a lot
of people (myself included) this is NOT a good way to play a game. I'll
play Diablo 2 on my PC or Final Fantasy X on my PS2 for that.

I guess the point I am trying to make is that the OGLE right now is JUST the
SRD...which are ok mechanics. I would like to see if GRG release their
rules to SRD would achieve the same goal they are trying to attain. Heck,
maybe if someone takes the first leap besides WotC a large number of us
might release our rules to the pot as well.

Would you not use them because they don't fit your needs? After all, you can
use the OGL in its entirety, and Wizards can't say much about it. That's the
purpose of it, after all. So what about the OGL doesn't fit your needs?
