well, there's the Fudge license, but it's somewhat fudge-specific (easily adjusted, however). however, the OGF has decided that it doesn't qualify as "open", because it says you need permission if the project is going to be commercial (not that SOS has ever denied anybody permission, nor is he likely to). personally, i think that's pot calling the kettle black--IMHO, the PI clause (of the WOGL) is far more detrimental to the concept of "open" than the no-commercial clause (and it's not a ban, just a condition), so *neither* of them completely lives up to the ideal of "open" gaming. so check out the Fudge license (there's a link off the OGF Open Gaming Licenses page) and see for yourself. -- woodelf <*> [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://members.home.net/woodelph/ If any religion is right, maybe they all have to be right.
