realistically, the risks taken by US troops in Afghanistan are pretty minimal (for a military action). heck, statistically, aren't they doing better than those driving on US highways, so far? [7 dead, out of how many deployed, for roughly 3 months?] not trying to belittle the risks, just put them in perspective. but, the more relevant question: why does it matter that they're risking life and limb now, rather than in the past? or do you similarly object to all (pseudo-)historical wargames? -- woodelf <*> [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://webpages.charter.net/woodelph/ If any religion is right, maybe they all have to be right. Maybe God doesn't care how you say your prayers, just as long as you say them. --Sinclair _______________________________________________ Ogf-l mailing list [EMAIL PROTECTED] http://mail.opengamingfoundation.org/mailman/listinfo/ogf-l
