I'd agree with that argument if gaming weren't a hobby.  A hobby is what you >want< to 
spend your time and money on; hobbies don't obey the normal rules of costing.

Luckily, the evidence of the market directly supports my theory, and directly 
contradicts the theory that gaming is on the wane, so I'm not to worried about the 
uninformed opinions of a few gadflies.
