Yes. Translation is one of the types of derivative works that can be created under the OGL. You are free to translate the SRD in whole or in part, and to create new derivative material in French that is based on the English SRD. > 2. There is no legal reason not to translate the reserved words into your own terms. You are under no obligation to do anything. If it were my work, I would change the terms in a second printing. Of special note: The OGL requires that you distribute an exact copy of the license with your work. It is implied that such a copy must be in English (otherwise it is not an exact copy), and it is always the English version that is binding.
