I believe that Wizards should make all non-D&D specific stuff into OGC, I respect their right to keep to themselves D&D specific characters(ie. Bigby) and Dieties(ie. Vecna), but that shouldn't be an excuse for depriving others of the use of some of their material(they did start this to make the market flourish and though there are a lot of minor d20 designers out there, it may hurt the market if the company with the most stuff is holding back).
