In your opinion. If WOTC was of a like mind it would have been in the SRD.

You're stating my position for me. Text that explains the rules is every bit
as valuable as things that could be classified as PI. Wizards is of the
opinion that you ought to buy the core books to have the rules explained to
you. The SRD is designed to let you build on the core books, not replace
them. They have no interest in providing creative content of any kind beyond
the bare essentials needed to drive sales of the core books.
