Why not release the Action! System rules under the OGL? We accomplish our goal of making it open content, and via our ASDG we can outline requirements for use of the trademarks. I have a few concerns but I am interested in your thoughts. Good or bad, what do you think the overall effect would be?
You have exactly, and only, one reason to use a different license if your goals are the same.

If this isn't your goal, and you wouldn't mind some bizzare amalgram of your mechanics and D&D's mechanics in a third-party product that has nothing to do with you, then by all means use the OGL.
Heck, let me shorten that. Use the OGL. There are no good reasons to use an open license that isn't the OGL.
