I must say that I had a second thought about aligning our distribution
to the Free Software Foundation guidelines. As far as the kernel is
concerned we would need to take out binary firmware blobs which would in
that we need to change the kernel and commit ourselves in using things
like "gnash" as an alternative to Flash Player.

In that respect I have taken a step back from this as people probably
want the best desktop experience. As we did a survey recently we might
want to include questions about "I prefer to have free software." vs. "I
prefer to have the best possible experience in installing proprietary
software."
