Even if I contribute to different Mdk/Mdv offspring, I'd very much like
to see this project continue, so I think this is a great proposal.

Is there someone who could become your spokesman?

I'd absolutely hate to see your talents wasted, but think it won't work
if you don't have a talented spokesman.

Openness about what you think and feel is great in many situations (it
makes me feel I can trust you: that you don't have hidden intentions and
that you'll say it when I do something which makes you doubt my
intentions).
However, here it seems to work against you: I'm worried about people
like Robert Xu, I'd very much like them to stay on board.

All the pain from the past and all related distrust: imho it is better
to talk about it privately somewhere else. Here it masques your message
about the future of the project. Also, for many contributing to a
project is much more fun when believing that even if all make stupid
mistakes from time to time, everyone's intentions are good.

Thanks for your attempt to get things moving. I hope your mail will
result in a strong revival of the project.

Good luck all,
Marja
