Jessica: After the migration, I was seeing my git reviews failing due to it not being able to find the Jira referenced in the commit message. I opened an LFN ticket on this earlier today : https://jira.linuxfoundation.org/plugins/servlet/desk/portal/2/IT-27291
The error message I was getting looks like so: remote: commit 87e9606: Non-existing issue ids referenced in commit message remote: The issue-ids remote: * CCSDK-4056 remote: are referenced in the commit message of remote: 87e9606f0327cada5ad7879ab49cf88b67adc43d, remote: but do not exist in its-jira Issue-Tracker To https://gerrit.onap.org/r/a/ccsdk/features That Jira does exist on Atlassian at the following URL: https://lf-onap.atlassian.net/jira/software/c/projects/CCSDK/issues/CCSDK-4056 At the moment, I’m seeing a different error – probably because you brought jira.onap.org back up: remote: commit f14dd8f: Failed to check whether or not issue CCSDK-4056 exists, due to connectivity issue. Commit will be accepted. remote: java.io.IOException: Request failed: https://jira.onap.org/rest/api/2/issue/CCSDK-4056 - 401 - null Note the URL above – it’s still pointing to jira.onap.org, and the format is quite a bit different. I’m pretty sure that’s the problem. Once you’ve cleared the issue with the boards, could you please check out this issue before you bring jira.onap.org back down? Thanks! Jira migration is complete, however it needs to wait on Confluence to complete too in order to fix links and set redirects. Confluence has been running for almost an hour, but I would expect it will take approximately 4 hours in total. Will keep you posted. Thank you! Heads up, we are going to start the Atlassian Cloud migration very soon. I noticed that we went down in size some more after a few of you tackled the duplicate attachments issue. This is great news and looking forward to better practices to be in place. Please let me know if you have any questions. Will keep you posted on this progress. There are few things I wanted to discuss before that and to make sure we have the community involved in this (If we need to delay this migration based on this discussion, please let me know) These are the points I wanted to talk about: - Current space concerns: The current license allows us to use 250GB of space. We are currently using 240GB. Please know that if we reach the limit after we migrate, this will mean that no one will be able to make changes or create new pages in Confluence making the site read-only basically. I want to make sure the community is aware that this might happen. - Regarding duplicates and additional versions of attachments: Ryan has been working on identifying these. His suggestion is to keep only 1 or 2 versions of the current attachments we have to help us clear our some space. However, I need the community to agree to allow us to remove these duplicates and additional versions across our current content. Does the community agree? - Storage alternatives: We talked about pushing demos and similar videos to LFN's YouTube channel going forward. We are thinking of other ideas that can help here and one of them is potentially acquiring a Google workspace managed by few members which we can use to store large documents, videos, logs and similar. Is there another idea the community would like to propose here? Please let me know what you think and if you would like to discuss these topics further. Thank you so much!
