>Regarding your first two points;
1) How many times have you or anyone else received a "sample ballot" in the
mail
and even bothered to look at it before chucking it in the trash?
I know that we got a sample ballot here a few days before the election
(granted from
the GOP and not an objective source) that didn't even include all the
various
offices
that we had the opportunity to vote for on the 7th.>

If a person fails to take advantage of an opportunity provided to them the
consequences of that choice are their own responsibility. This also plays
into the impossibility of creating any ballot that some people will not use
correctly.

>2) And i also heard that several Florida voters did take their ballots to
an
election
judge and were told that they could not help them or that if they made a
mistake they
were just __ out of luck and they could NOT have another ballot.>

Anecdotal rumors carry little weight. Do you have a reliable source that
this specifically happened in these counties? How many cases have been
documented? Florida state law requires that they be given those extra
ballots. And the counties we are talking about are heavily democrat. Would
you and the Gore campaign have us believe that those kinds of counties are
the ones most likely to run unfair elections?

>As for point 5; If the Bush campaign had bee interested in fair results
they
would not
have sued to stop the hand count on Saturday.>

If you believe that an election (already counted twice) was fair, stopping
another UNfair recount (from your perspective) is a fair thing to do. I'm
neither a political strategist nor an election law lawyer, but I might have
considered asking for a hand recount in all the other counties instead.

Both campaigns are being disingenuous to a certain extent. IMNSHO, the Gore
campaign much more so.
