As I mentioned earlier, my email program is configured to show a short header, consisting of subject, from and date all on one line. The from shows the sender not the list name. Also, the panel above the message is a list of all messages in my inbox. That info does not appear there. So I can look at the message in that list and see the title, but no clue at all about the list. As some of the subjects look suspiciously like spam, I may mark them as such and delete them. By including the list name in the subject, a message is much less likely to be misidentified as spam. I normally scan that message list for spam, before I read any messages and that is why I want to see the list name.
