for oorexx.org

whois shows Mark Hessling as registrant, admin and tech contact with e-mail address : [email protected]

I think Mike has a bit of a point in that the topmost sites that come up if googling (oo)rexx show oorexx.org at or nearly at the top, so it might be useful to keep that site up to date.

Now if the [email protected] is too busy or not interested anymore I'm willing to, at least, keep the download links to sourceforge up to date, he just has to let me know and authorise me.

SourceForge is what is hosting the ooRexx. project. It is the

date. The latest official releases are only available from
        SourceForge.
Sourceforge is not really not usable for most 'average'
users. There's little point in putting software there if you
want it to be widely accessible.

I concede that some of the things SourceForge offers are confusing to average users. But, I don't think downloading files is.

This page: http://www.oorexx.org/download.html

just contains links that point to the software on SourceForge. If the software was not put on SourceForge, the links would be worthless.

Keeping that page up-to-date, is the responsibility of ?? I don't know who, but some one who is not real interested in ooRexx. Or, who was interested but has lost interest or no longer has the time.
