It appears that Jenkins have moved around some files with Ubuntu 24 compared to earlier versions,
the upgrading does not work as it used to be. For this reason I need to spend some time to be sure

I will look at the document set up for the last release, a lot of what I did then can be removed

I also point to the fact that the version number of all builds will most likely be the version
number of the RC, not 1. I remember there were complains about this in the 5.0.0 release.
