Moin,

Actually i wanted to do a review of the schematics, but
unfortunately, it doesn't seem like i have the time to
do it. Thus i think it's best that i just quickly tell what
is in my mind than waiting further until i'm too late.

First thing that popped into my mind when i read the
ECP2 docu is, that it has LVDS compatible pins, but OGD1
does not have any connector for them. IMHO it would be
a very good idea to have just a few LVDS sender and
reciever lines, maybe just 4 of each (16 pins) on a
connector. Those who'd want to couple two OGD1 boards
or interface with another device would be glad to have them.

Another thing is the ECP2 has a few clocking sources,
but we only use two oszilators. For us, this is enough,
but i think if other clock sources are available, we
should enable people to use them. Simplest would be to
just put some sockets in there, so that anyone who
would want to change the frequency or add another clock
could do that.

I also haven't seen anything that resambles a JTAG
interface. If i have overlooked it, my appologies.
But if not, this is a _must_have_.

And last but not least, would it be possible to plan
for another TDA8777 for the second head? Ie just put
the pads there and wire it in parallel to the MAX5886
in case someone wants to solder one in. This would would
be easier and cheaper than three MAX5886 with all the
parts they need.
