For the OGP, I think "Graphics Liberation Project" (or whatever it was

Using the word "Liberation," we can define it how we need to. We're
liberating the hardware. Not necessarily its design but its specs so
that we can support Free Software. Liberation does not exactly equal
Free. But it doesn't go AGAINST it either, and RMS has pointed out
where certain Open Source people have actively spoken out AGAINST Free
Software values.
I don't think the actions of that camp should make the word open
itself untouchable. Some extra explanation of the project's plans and
motivations seems to be necessary for those things to be clear,
regardless of what it's called. There's not much that can be done for
people who make assumptions about OGP without taking any time at all
to read about what it is. On that note, would anyone mind if I
reworded things at AboutOpenGraphics? Basically to use the word free
instead of open source in the early parts of the document where it's
used to refer to software (and not the fuzzy issue of hardware).

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the only code that would be X11
licensed would be the drivers.
