Slugs are about an order of magnitude cheaper than OGD1, and a heck of a
lot of people are using them, so things like "cheapness" and "minimizing
hassle" are important considerations there.
The only referneces i found there was either to Wiggler type
cables (using the parallel port) or to BDI2000 (which is a
full fledged debugger and costs >2000EUR).
IMHO it should be possible to build a USB cable for less than
100EUR. I would think that someone else already did this,
as it is quite a comon use, but i'm unable to find anything
that uses USB or Ethernet for less than 1000EUR.
