Don't get confused here.  I'm not talking about huge machine-generated
waveforms like you get in a VCD file.  I'm talking about the
equivalent of hand-drawn waveforms that you would use when designing
or documenting something.  Lots and lots of times, I have to
completely chart out two or more pipelines so I can see how they line
up and figure out how one has to be stretched to match the other.
