I can't? Why not?
Ethernet is plenty fast enough for compressed video. I have HD mpeg2
going across mine in real time every day.
So you want an external device? Not a graphics device that sits on
the system bus?
This seems like a viable idea and it would work with any system that had
fast Ethernet. I do wonder if users would accept it.
