Well actually, you would need half a PC, but half a PC is now one chip
-- northbridge.


shouldnt this go into another card? then arrange the video card to get
the decoded image from the decoder and maybe use it as a texture?

we let the 3d card focus on 3d then we let the image card focus on
images. maybe we can put jpeg decoding in there too. nice for mjpeg.
