you definitely have a firewall problem without a doubt. but why have you a firewall ... Mac's don't get viruses now do they??????? ;-)
just disable it and try telnet again, that will prove its your firewall/network problem. But its not an OpenBD or a driver problem, you'll be glad to hear. J.B.
