This is correct--just note that the MS driver we ship with OpenBD is *only* for SQL 2005, so you do have to use the jTDS driver to connect to SQL 2000.

Also I have seen (and this is something I still need to look into in the administrator) that if you choose the 2005 driver first, and then update the datasource and switch the driver, it seems to hang onto the old driver. So if you switch the driver in an existing datasource and it doesn't work, just delete the datasource entirely and create a new one using the jTDS driver for SQL 2000.
