Right now, I'm trying to add a datasource via the admin console. I'm naming the datasource "Example" and selecting Microsoft SQL Server (jTDS). If I go this route, do I even need to install the JDBC Drivers from MS?
Once I submit that, I get the following form which I am filling out accordingly OpenBD Datasource Name - example Database Name - example Database Server - DB01 Server Port - 1433 User Name - user_name Password - password Description - I've already setup an ODBC datasource in Windows and tested it using the same credentials, database name, and database server, and it tested successfully, so I know on some level the db server is there and ready. However, when I submit the form above, I get "Could not verify datasource: Network error IOException: Connection refused: connect" Any ideas? It sounds like jTDS is the way to go since I don't have to install any extra drivers. --~--~---------~--~----~------------~-------~--~----~ Open BlueDragon Public Mailing List http://groups.google.com/group/openbd?hl=en official site @ http://www.openbluedragon.org/ !! save a network - trim replies before posting !! -~----------~----~----~----~------~----~------~--~---
