Of course without a doubt.

We need to take the value away from the server and focus on the profit 
of the CFML developer.   If the developer can truly package up their 
apps as easily as they can say PHP/Ruby without concern or worry of 
burdening their end user with a $$$$ license fee, then we as a community 
have won.

We will have enabled them to increase their own personal wealth.

I believe with OpenBD we are significantly down this road.
