In my searching for this list I was looking for references
to OpenCard and OpenTalk
I eventually discovered that OpenTalk is a registered
trademark of someone else.
Would the members here consider changing the name of
the project to "GnuCard" which uses the "GnuTalk" language?
I have other reasons for suggesting this as well, most of
them purely my personal preference and have absolutely no
basis in anything other than my own mind share.
I have a tendancy to take projects with Gnu in their title a bit
more seriously, especially when it is just in the formative
stages. A practice I try and avoid but catch myself doing still.
I don't know if anyone else does that.
I also just like the way it sounds when I say it better than
OpenCard. I don't have any expectations that people change
the name of the project just because some newbie said it
sounds better, but what do you guys think?
I am sure there are a host of other reasons for and against.
