>1) MFC are the most used in win environment

Hi,

 I have to say that this point is probably not that important.

>2) Borland is going to stop the development/support of VCL/OWL and use MFC

 This is definitely a point against VCL/OWL. However, does anyone know
anything about the Windows core APIs (those MFC uses to do its magic?).
I've heard they were so bad one should forget it, but never tried them (I
only did Optima C++ and that was worse than a beginner using PowerPlant's
worst classes on a very bad day).

>3) MFC are useable in all developt windows (codewarior, visual c++, c++
>builder, etc...), VCL/OWL only on C++ builder

 This is definitely important. Since MFC is done by MS, there's actually an
advantage in using that to program for Windows, since it's much less likely
to miss important features Windows has and we're likely to be able to stick
with it for quite a while.

 Of course, we could also use wxWindows. I'll try to get the current beta
downloaded and then I'll tell you whether it might work.

Cheers,
