Adrian: As promised more details on our SourceForge project.
Adrian: Our account is now fully set up and working. I have created a
freecard-announce mailing list which will be ready by tomorrow (the server
takes 6-24 hours to register the new list due to a number of factors - read
the help on site for more info). I will set this up as a moderated list for
significant announcements only. This list will be more useful later in the
life of the project than now, but it provides a useful test list for now.
Adrian: Our web site at freecard.sourceforge.net is ready, but we haven't
uploaded anything to it yet. I'll get something up there tonight, but it
won't be much. Primarily it will point to the current site on Alain's
server and we can start moving things over incrementally. The next update
for the log (in my list of things to do) will go to the sourceforge site for
instance.
Adrian: I will set up a survey on Eric's partnership agreement draft so we
can start to regauge opinion on that.
Adrian: What you need to do: Go to http://www.sourceforge.net, create an
account for yourself and send me your user ID number so I can add you as a
member of the FreeCard group. For now I will make everyone a normal member
and not an administrator but contact me if you wish to be an administrator
once you understand what that means. Also contact me if you find you don't
have permissions to do something that you would like to do (ie edit the web
site, create a forum etc) I can either give you specific priveliges to do
that or give you administrator status.
Adrian: You also need to suggest names for the general discussion list (the
replacement of this one). The names will be of the form
freecard-<name>@lists.sourceforge.net freecard-discussion is currently the
best name I can think of. Remember that once a list is created it cannot be
removed (it can be disabled though).
Adrian: I think that's it for now. We still need to sort out how to combine
the list archives with the new archives. It shouldn't be that hard though.

I always feel that they have not said enough.
