Samar, They work, their software which calculates the bandwidth doesn't.
There's something cool lately, there's a USB from vodafone that is actually a full linux machine that connects to 3G and give the laptop a lan interface over usb, this lan interface is bridged on the linux machine, and it is configurable via browser. I've seen it, but i'm not sure if it's the default one that is distributed with data lines.
