You can find the install from source instructions at 
https://github.com/OPENNETWORKINGLAB/flowvisor/wiki/Installation-from-Source.

As you will see under 'Download and Build'; you only need to run 'make' to 
build it and then follow the instruction on the rest of that page to install it.
