There is much to learn... Thanks for the links. I browsed through some of the ER Diagrams. Impressive ... HUGE ... daunting. But you seem to cover like everything in the world, even construction work, traffic violations, and other crimes. Sooo much detail, so much use cases covered. It sure is a great treasure accumulated over the years. The challenge for new adopters is to leverage and unlock the treasure. The challenge for everyone is to migrate to new requirements. Just an example, the ICD code is tightly built into the data structures, what if we throw ICD out tomorrow and use XYZ? This is not a criticism, I just wonder whether there is a way for a system to be as versatile and powerful as VistA and still be simple, light weight? I think all the legacy systems have the same problem, including RMRS, HELP, TMR, etc. They are HUGE and heavy weight. thanks, -Gunther -- Gunther_Schadow-------------------------------http://aurora.rg.iupui.edu Regenstrief Institute for Health Care 1050 Wishard Blvd., Indianapolis IN 46202, Phone: (317) 630 7960 [EMAIL PROTECTED]#include <usual/disclaimer>
