It's definitely command line oriented for this sort of thing, but far superior 
in every respect to windows for server use (imo). I don't think linux is hard, 
but if you are not a commandline person you may find it hard. Windows VPS are 
available, just more expensive.

Try linux out locally first in a virtual machine and see how you fair.
