Hi folks,

As September draws to a close, so does Angela Robertson's term as an
Open Organization Ambassador.

Angela joined the group in 2017 and wasted no time making an impact. She
quickly became a prominent voice advocating for a new, more open style
of organizational leadership, penning articles on the importance of
vulnerability [1], patience [2], and empowerment [3] in the workplace.
She also contributed some of our most extensive community guides to more
open meetings, including a primer on one-on-one meetings [4] and a more
exhaustive piece that appeared in the second edition of _The Open
Organization Leaders Manual_.

At monthly ambassador meetings, we could always count on Angela for a
much-needed dose of perspective and an inspiring degree of honesty
through transparency. Her candor about the challenges she faces as she
works to better understand her open leadership style drew others into
conversation about difficult and trying issues. That penchant for
sharing extended outside the group, too. During a round-table discussion
celebrating the open organization community's anniversary, Angela
offered her expertise and insights with a wider audience—so good and
well-received that we decided to post the entire conversation on YouTube
[5].

Thank you, Angela, for your camaraderie, support, kindness, and
contributions!

Sincerely,
Bryan
