If your "US-English" tags carry the same weight as something like a tooltip, I don't have any objection to that, and indeed they must be human-readable - the question is, by which nationality humans? But it's when you started talking about using that field for the system to uniquely identify that set of voice prompts, that alarm bells started going off.
