Well, I just tried my program at school, and it works. The environment is mostly
the same : Fedora Core 4, OpenSG 1.6, VR Juggler 2.0.1. They both have AMD
processors, though one is a 1600+ and the other a 2100+. The big difference is
that one machine has an ATI Radeon 9700 Pro card and the other an nVidia
GeForce FX 5200 card.

I wonder though why vred worked with shaders on my machine at home... It should
have segfaulted like my applications and the testSHL and testSHLEarth programs
did... Does it use the OpenSG libs that it finds on the system or does it
include its own versions?

Can we confirm that OpenSG 1.6 uses only OpenGL 1.5? If that's the case, maybe
the problem is caused by something else on my home machine?

Thanks in advance,

J-S
