I know little about the win32 api, but looking at the documentation at http://msdn.microsoft.com/library/default.asp?url=/library/en-us/gdi/pantdraw_81pz.asp seems to suggest that the call will block until the window has received a WM_PAINT message (because the flag RDW_UPDATENOW is passed to RedrawWindow). This seems to suggest to me, that there might be a problem with window event processing ? I somehow had hoped that the backtrace would contain a call to OpenSG, or a NULL pointer that would have given a better clue as to what goes wrong :( Carsten ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
