Hello all, From our perspective here, we would love to see: - stronger animation support (maybe including xform, skeletal, tweening, texture) - strong art path (Collada would handle this) - 3D GUI toolkit - Native Physics.
We've had some great success with Ageia's PhysX in OpenSG. Performance was great and there's even the option for fluids, cloth, softbodies, etc. If we had to pick one of the above features, animation support would be it...without question. It would be great if everybody was happy enough to not want anything, but I find that hard to believe. ;) Yours Dirk P.S.: URL: http://opensg.vrsource.org/trac/wiki/Dev/SoC2008 ------------------------------------------------------------------------- This SF.net email is sponsored by: Microsoft Defy all challenges.
