Something I really would love to see is a faster and more modern
method for vertex cache optimization.

The current striip/fan code is nice (I wrote it :) but it is really  
dated.

The problem and solutions are not to hard to understand and
an implementation is not to complex because they only work
on a single geometry object. No complex structures are needed.
