I have learned a lot from the existing examples, especially the not so simple ones like the deferred shading example. I think that providing good examples is basically a community task. Additionally, I frequently search the user mailing list for missing information. Writing documentation, i.e. reference documentation for the existing code base seems to be a lot of work. We are only a small community. An introduction exists but might be synchronized with the code. (?) Only my 2 cents.
