I could be mistaken, but I don't believe you have a veto here.

I don't see how changes to the existing /usr/bin/tar "ignored" any
part of the review.  More importantly, though, I don't see how *ANY*
of this discussion has *ANYTHING WHATSOEVER* to do with the project
under review.

Please stop discussing star and OpenSolaris tar on this list.  It has
nothing to do with the project under review, which is solely changing
the installed path of GNU tar, an already-delivered component.

The proposal to change the path on GNU tar (which is delivered via
SFW, not ON) was approved during ARC business yesterday.  If you feel
the need to discuss other issues, please take them somewhere else.
