Well I guess I need to figure out how to get a subversion server up
and running as well as a few other things.  I'll have a look around
and see what I have on hand.  The idea is to make everything public
but there is little added value.  Simply putting the diffs out doesn't
do anything for the quality or supply of the software packages.  We
would have to go back and get all 1290 packages into the system and
then get the diffs and scripts exposed and .. what?  Downloadable such
that you can build it all on your own system?  Is that the magic
bullet that makes for an "open source" project ?

Truth is .. I don't know.  I would think that having it all open is a
good first step and then move forward from there.

The nice thing is that the pkg tools are now avail in a binary
redistributible form and that makes it a lot easier to install a SVR4
type package.  All of the SUNW dependencies are the next hurdle as
well as the package database.
