Ah, but accepted by *whom*? It's obviously already accepted. The question is by 
how many and are those people important?

Sorry, but at this point, there is absolutely no proof that a chance in license 
will bring this mysterious success you propose that it will.

Look at GNU Hurd. I don't see people flocking to it just because it's GPL...
