Part of the answer, of course, is that not all of those things have  
drivers that are open source or at least freely-redistributable yet.   
So for some of them, you'll have to stick to SXCE or Solaris 10, or  
try to get the emancipation project involved:

For the others, as on any open source project, it will just take as  
long as it takes, and the more people who help out the quicker it will  
get done.
