How about we walk before we run? :) These things take time. For an initial release, though, OpenSolaris 2008.05 has pretty darn good support -- certainly far from abysmal -- that's for sure. Also, we are not targeting consumers (as defined by people who know nothing about computers), but instead we are looking to engage more developers and users and students who are more familiar this stuff.
