That matches pretty much what I know. More importantly it doesn't really know anything (all that much) about ZFS and we'd like to have a tool that leverages as much as it can from the underlying system (natrually). Plus, some of the design decisions implemented in Flash may not necessarily hold true in OpenSolaris. So, what that actually looks like hasn't been talked about yet but it's on the 'list'.
