I would encourage you to continue to test and document issues you
encounter for the benefit of others and provide feedback about how
OpenSolaris can be improved.

I did it with a sigh during the last 2.5 years; despite of being deprived of my
own bug reports, and despite of this not being a community (if one does not
call 'community' a group of unpaid idiots that has absolutely no say of what
goes on), and despite of Ponytail having had nothing in his mind but how to
increase his share values. I did it for SUN, those who had helped before with
StarOffice that I have been using exclusively for the last 10 years, have
offered the beautiful Java in all its half-baked freeness at least without
cost, have recently given me a really great value for free with VirtualBox,
that I adore more than VMware. And the most beautiful and inventive file system
of mankind, alas gone completely haywire; more difficult and more arcane than
vi (or emacs, if you like).
Does my gratefulness stretch up to Oracle? Absolutely not. Oracle has done
zilch for me or Free Software. A few months ago I wrote something like 'before
the sun goes down' somewhere in here, and now it has gone down, effectively. If
Oracle decides to drop Linux and sponsor a real OpenSolaris community working
on a Free OpenSolaris (even if only to run their proprietary database thereon),
I'll be back with all the little spare time that my paid job allows me.
