In this, you are correct. But I also believe that you are in for a surprise:
we will see what the acceptance rate of your decisions and your product will be.
And also, we will see what good is a product if it will be shunned and not
accepted by the very people whose problems it was meant to solve.
Interest and acceptance of the OpenSolaris 200x releases has been quite
high as should be obvious from the growth of the community since its
release and the traffic stats that can be viewed from pkg.opensolaris.org.
Its obvious you too care about the product, as you spend a great deal of
time talking about it :)
