Giovanni,
I'm not trying to shoot the messenger, and not you in person.

Our local HP people checked back and still agree with the statement
that wrigtim got about Oracle cancelling the HP contract.
that he wants us (Sun/Oracle people, who specifically?) to agree to the fact,
that that OEM deal is canceled.
I totally agree, that all this is a communictaion problem. sadly, I can't help
with that, I can only state and provide, what is made available to me, and
that does currently NOT include any info about the OEM deal, it's initial
time-frame, nor any cancelations of it. So, as we have NOT been informed about
a termination, and due to the fact, that we also do not KNOW about the
duration of the initial OEM agreement, and due to the fact, that our internal
FAQ still states availability I assume, that that OEM deal is still valid.
That's, why I simply did ask to help also from HP side, by providing any
public info from HP on the termination of the OEM deal. As such a thing would
calrify things here for all of us...
And, yes, the SUPPORT option now seems to be a direct Oracle support sales
thing. It's called: Oracle Premium Support for Operating Systems. It's a
direct offer from Oracle! And it's applicable to all those, that have an
ENTITLEMENT for running Solaris.

Yes, I also think, that patience might be good, but I also understand, that
there are people who really need to update their contracts, as they are
currently expiring. Therefore I try to provide what I can from inside the
"walled garden". And, no, I'm not a hero, nor do I try to become one. I'm also
only trying to be a messenger here...
