I think they want to dictate it on their own terms, exploit the OSS
community anyway they want, and give back when they want to.
I think opensolris is a great example, they got rid of the distro,
closed up the gate,etc and want us to sit with our paws up waiting for
the solaris code
if the leaked memo is correct, then oracle will release the solaris
code when they want to, and now it appears they are about to fork
the linux kernel to try to control it somehow. since nobody owns
opensoure just take it
create a new model to replace the own model, and the new model is
the oracle model ;-)
