As a general-user, I would say you "get" to use ZFS rather than "have" 
to use it. Have you seen the Time Slider 
<http://blogs.sun.com/erwann/entry/zfs_on_the_desktop_zfs> feature? The 
File Version Explorer 
<http://blogs.sun.com/observatory/entry/file_version_explorer> basically 
gives you a built in version control system.
